Sunset Flower Farm is owned and operated by Linda and David Rau. Both
are members of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers and the American Peony Society. David also serves as the Treasurer of the Cape May County Board of Agriculture.

Linda has a degree in Horticulture and has been working in the flower industry since the age of 12. She applied her education and talent throughout more than three decades of continuous work in the floral industry. In 2003, Linda opened Loose Cuts Flower Shop in Haddon Township, New Jersey, which specialized in designing unique floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, and every day occasions.

Throughout her successful career as a florist, Linda taught floriculture to students and adults at Holy Savior School and at Archway Programs, where she served as a careers instructor for students with special needs. She continues this public outreach and education on the farm, hosting design seminars, master gardener classes, and local students from the vocational school.

David is an integral part of the crop management and farm operations. His experience from two former careers- cattle/wheat farmer and sales manager, locks in perfect tandem with Linda’s floral background.

In 2011, to the surprise of their four adult children, Linda and David relocated to a 17 acre farm in Belleplain, New Jersey, which they transformed into Sunset Flower Farm. They pride themselves in the quality, freshness, and presentation of their cut flowers.
